In a recent outreach effort, Indomie partnered with several non-governmental organizations to distribute free lunches to school children and donate cartons of Indomie noodles to disadvantaged communities in Ajegunle and Oworonshoki areas of Lagos State.

The program, initiated on March 23 with the donation of over 200 cartons of Indomie noodles to residents in Ojodu, continued with visits to schools and communities in Ajegunle and Oworonshoki on March 26 and 27 respectively.

During the distribution events, representatives from Dufil Prima Foods LTD reiterated the brand’s commitment to supporting the vulnerable in society and complementing government efforts to alleviate hunger.

The company’s Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Temitope Ashiwaju, emphasized the importance of providing assistance to communities in need, expressing hope that these interventions would bring relief and smiles to Nigerians facing hardships.

The partnership with ‘Dreams From The Slum Empowerment Initiative’ and the Lagos Food Bank Initiative allowed Indomie to extend its reach to underserved populations.

Isaac Success Omoyele, founder of Dreams From The Slum Empowerment Initiative, and Michael Sunbola, President/Executive Director of Lagos Food Bank Initiative, commended Indomie’s efforts and encouraged other corporate entities to emulate such impactful initiatives.

Beneficiaries of the program, including school children and community members, expressed gratitude for the timely intervention, highlighting the significant impact of Indomie’s generosity in their lives.

The initiative reflects Dufil Prima Foods LTD’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility strategy aimed at providing hope and support to vulnerable populations, including the provision of medical supplies, educational support, and scholarships to indigent students.
