Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest individual, has initiated a philanthropic endeavor by distributing one million bags of rice valued at over N13 billion to disadvantaged individuals across Nigeria through his Humanitarian Foundation.
Additionally, the organization is catering to the needs of at least 10,000 Muslims observing Ramadan in Kano State by providing meals.
These Ramadan meals feature a diverse array of dishes, including jollof rice, plain rice with stew, jollof spaghetti, yam, and beans, complemented with chicken and beef. Each meal package includes a bottle of water and a beverage for personal consumption.
Distribution points for these meals encompass Juma’at mosques, streets, prisons, orphanages, remand homes, and various locations within Kano City and its environs.
