Suspected kidnappers have abducted and murdered Alhaji Garba Badamasi, the traditional ruler of Riruwai village in Lame District, Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The gunmen seized the Sarkin Riruwai from his palace on Friday night, March 15, 2024, firing shots to intimidate residents.
The body of the traditional ruler was discovered near the village in the early hours of Sunday, March 17. It was reported that the abductors did not make any ransom demands to his family.
Alhaji Garba Badamasi was laid to rest in Gumau town, Toro LGA, on Sunday, in accordance with Islamic rites.
