A user on X, acting as a moral critic, has criticized Herbert Wigwe’s eldest daughter for not standing to greet Vice President Kashim Shettima. The X user posted a photo of Tochi Wigwe sitting while receiving a handshake from Shettima at an event held to mourn the tragic loss of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe in a helicopter crash. Subsequently, the user shared images of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing while greeting Shettima.
Expressing disapproval, the user remarked, “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is, she lacks proper home training. You don’t shake a person old enough to be your father while sitting down.” Some X users from the North also criticized the grieving daughter, but a significant number defended her.
