Super Eagles sensation Victor Osimhen has showcased the true spirit of generosity by gifting a young fan the sum of N2.5 million.
The heartwarming gesture came after the football star noticed a video of the young boy on Instagram, where he not only dressed like Osimhen but also exhibited skills reminiscent of the footballer.
The video, initially posted by popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut, caught Osimhen’s attention, prompting him to reach out for assistance in locating the young fan. The boy, clad in a jersey with ‘Victor’ and the number ‘9’ at the back, wore a mask and replicated Osimhen’s distinctive hairstyle.
With the help of content creator Eriq Morak, the young fan was identified, and it turned out he resides in Ivory Coast. Tunde Ednut expressed surprise at finding the boy outside Nigeria, saying, “I initially thought this little man was Nigerian. You won’t believe we found him in Ivory Coast.”
Osimhen, expressing his gratitude for the boy’s admiration, reached out and presented the generous sum of N2.5 million. The heartening update was shared by Ednut, who wrote, “I spoke to the family briefly to make sure it was the boy.”
The family, filled with gratitude, shared a video thanking Victor Osimhen for his kind and unexpected gesture. This heartwarming exchange highlights the positive impact sports icons can have on their young admirers and the joy that such acts of kindness bring to both the recipients and the wider community.
