William Troost-Ekong, the Super Eagles vice-captain received an honour award from his state governor.
The governor of Akwa Ibom State Umo Eno has found it worthy to honour Ekong, the Super Eagles vice-captain for his remarkable performance during the just concluded 3023 African Cup of Nations
Troost-Ekong was one of the key players in the AFCON 2023 game, and he was included in the Confederation of African Football ( CAF). He scored three goals for the Super Eagles during the 2023 AFCON and he is from Akwa Ibom State.
The AFCON player presented a Super Eagles jersey to Governor Eno during a reception at the government house, Uyo on Thursday as a token of appreciation for the state’s support and encouragement.
