Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy loses Grammy award in all four nominated categories.
Burna Boy was nominated for the Global Music Performance category, the Best Melodic Rap Performance category, Best Global Music Album and the Best African Music Performance category.
In the streams of the loses, Burna Boy’s ’I Told Them’ was nominated for the category of Best Global Music Album, but he lost it to World Fusion and Shakti’s ‘This Moment’.
His song, ‘Alone’ was nominated for the Global Music Performance category but he lost it to Zakir Hussain, Bela Fleck and Edgar Myer’s ‘’Pashto’.
‘City Boys’ by Burna Boy also lost to Tyla’s song ‘Water’ which was in the category of Best African Music Performance.
Lastly, Best Melodic Rap Performance was won by Lol Dirk and J Cole.
Fans of the artist are in awe at the occurrence as their idol was not listed as a winner in any of the four mentioned categories.
