Jasmine, the daughter of Nigerian Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu has narrated that she was rearrested for refusing to hand over her father’s assets in her possession.
According to Tosin Silverdam, a blogger, Jasmine and Mr. Ibu’s son was arrested for refusing to relegate all assets belonging to Mr. Ibu to his wife, Stella Maris.
Tosin qouted a write up by Benson Okonwo, another Nollywood actor who claimed that he confirmed the news from Stella Maris, Mr. Ibu’s wife.
While quoting Benson, she wrote:
“Thank God you have stated your source! cause when I respond to all this, they will say this Jasmine is a manipulator low key they are the ones using my name to get sympathy! Since y’all wanna talk let’s talk.”
Is a response, Jasmine sprang up and expressed that it is time for her to speak, as her silence on the issue isn’t doing her any good in the whole matter. In venting her anger, Jasmine wrote:
“They have been triggering this whole time! All the people I respect have been saying Jasmine silence is golden! But this silence is not working for me no more! Let’s adress everything online once And for all! No body should blame me for speaking up for my self.”
Jasmine expressed that she will speak her mind online, and offers that no one should blame her for what she is about to say.
