Popular Nigerian singer Wizkid has been asked to pay royalties to Otse Vincent Martins aka VeryDarkMan.
It appears that Wizkid has used the popular saying of VeryDarkMan “don’t play” in his latest song “Diamonds”.
Laying claims to the phrase, VeryDarkMan says Wizkid is owing him for using his coined phrase.
He claimed that all of the terms he often uses were protected by intellectual property rights, he even went further to display a copy of paperwork to prove that “Don’t Play” is exclusive to him.
Reposting the post by VeryDarkMan, Tunde Ednut says “What do you guys think? 🤣🤣🤣.”
