The Nigerian Labour Congress has alleged that Governor Hope Uzodinma is a terrorist and that the citizens of Imo state are not saved.
In a post captioned “IMO STATE CITIZENS ARE IN DANGER, THE CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER IS NOW A TERRORIST”
Via its official X handle on Saturday, the labour union stated that the attack on its President, Joe Ajaero, was not just an attack on his personality but on the legal rights of the citizens of Imo State.
“The Attack on the NLC President is not just an attack on his personality but an attack on the legal rights of a citizen by a governor who was meant to secure the citizen,” the post read.
Report has it that remembers that of the Imo State Police Command are said to have kidnapped and beaten Joe Ajaero on Wednesday.
The beating of the NLC President has resulted in a crucial state that sent him to the hospital for treatment.
In reply, the police denied any accusations of maltreatment against the NLC President saying that they only placed the NLC President in preventive custody in lieu of a mob action again him.
Notwithstanding, the NLC union assured that there will be an investigation into the mistreatment of it’s leader. They call for the immediate removal and demotion of the Imo State Commissioner of Police.
