Actress Jada Pinkett Smith had admitted that she and late rapper Tupac Shakur were “soulmates”.
In a recent interview with Christal Jordan she explained that she and Tupac were meant for each other and that they had both travelled through “past lives” quite a number of times
The statement came about as a result of much criticism she’d received over her new memoir ‘worthy’ where she listed stunning information about her marriage to actor Will Smith.
She placed herself at the center of an infamous occurrence in regard to the ‘2022 Oscar slap’ where she had caused an uproar with her attitude, as she mentioned that she and Smith had been separated for seven years.
During the interview, Jordan asked about Tupac and if she (Jada) believed there could be a “soulmate friendship” that does not include the romantic kind of relationship.
She replied and said, “Absolutely! We have soulmates. Our children can be our soulmates. I think this kind of romanticized idea is like a ‘soulmate.’ There’s all kinds of definitions of a soulmate.”
She went on to say, “But yeah, you know, definitely,” agreeing that she and Tupac were soulmates. “If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think ‘Pac and I have traveled a few together. You know, in various forms,”
Still, during her chat with Jordan for Rolling Out, Mrs. Smith cleared the air once again on claims that she and Tupac ever had a romantic relationship.
Overall, Jada admits to a non romantic friendship with Tupac and upheld her statutory position in that form other than any insinuated ideas as propelled by the public.
