Olosho is a term commonly associated with prostitution in Nigeria. On ‘The Honest Bunch Podcast’, that was presented by actor Nedu, Mandy Kiss expressed her annoyance with being referred to as an “Olosho” everywhere she goes. She believes that her reputation makes it difficult for her to discover true love.
“It has not been easy for me [regarding finding true love]. I have suffered a lot. I just want happiness. I just want someone who will love me. But with my money and body, I’m still getting dumped,” she revealed.
She went on to discuss her disappointment at suitors showing interest in her and leaving after they became intimate. She mentioned that this has become a pattern and it has given her great concern.
She said: “They [suitors] will come and I will think I have found true love. They will call me always, we will talk at night. But once they sleep with me, they leave,”
Aside from this, during the podcast, she also discussed how name calling and societal backbiting can affect a person’s emotion and overall being. Mandy Kiss came up clean about one time that she mistakenly slept with someone’s husband.
Although she has stopped the business of ‘Olosho’, her image is still dented with the past, thereby making her anxious about finding love. As she continued her session during the podcast, it was revealed that she yearns for happiness and true love just as every other person would.
