- Richard Chukwujekwu Okoye, D.D.S.
- Olatise Dr. Olalekan.
- Buliaminu Adebayo Adigun, Drdot
These four practitioners have had their licenses to practice in Nigeria suspended by a 15- member investigation panel of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
This was announced on Monday through the social media channels of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
The suspended practitioners were allegedly involved in ethical misconduct which resulted in the meeting of the 15-member panel which serves as the court of first instance. The 15 members of the panel are all required to be licensed physicians or dentists.
According to the MDPIP’s Standing Orders and Rules of Procedure, the Professional Discipline (PD) department receives and investigates complaints from the public alleging professional misconduct on the part of physicians and dentists.
The department’s head oversees all activities and acts as the investigation’s secretary. With due investigation carried out, the 4 members are placed on an indefinite suspension.
