American music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly lost 41 days of good-time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges following disciplinary violations while serving his prison sentence.
According to a report by TMZ, Jose Rojas, a secretary for a Bureau of Prisons employee union, said he had obtained Diddy’s disciplinary history, which reportedly included fighting incidents and violations involving telephone use.
The revelations have raised fresh questions about the music mogul’s conduct behind bars as he continues serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey.

Diddy Reportedly Written Up Over Fighting Incidents
According to Rojas, Combs’ disciplinary record included reports of fighting on July 31 and September 30, alongside another major violation recorded on October 1.
The records also reportedly listed minor telephone violations dated July 7 and September 19, 2025.
However, the specific circumstances surrounding the alleged fighting incidents and the October disciplinary violation were not fully detailed in the information reported.
Good-time credit allows eligible federal prisoners to earn reductions in the time they spend in custody by meeting certain requirements for satisfactory conduct. Losing such credit can affect an inmate’s projected release date.
Commissary privileges, meanwhile, allow inmates to purchase approved items, including additional food and personal-care products, subject to prison rules.
Rojas reportedly said the disciplinary history could affect Combs’ classification within the prison system, potentially resulting in his designation as a disruptive inmate and consideration for a transfer to another facility.
However, there was no indication in the report that a transfer had taken place.
Diddy’s Reported Release Date Changes
The latest disciplinary revelations follow an earlier report by TMZ that Combs’ projected release date had shifted from January 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028.
The reported change has drawn attention to how prison disciplinary proceedings and the loss of good-time credit may affect his time in custody.
Nevertheless, projected release dates can change, and the reported disciplinary penalties should be distinguished from any final determination by prison authorities regarding his release.
Allegations of Preferential Treatment Behind Bars
The disciplinary report comes after NBC News reportedly published allegations that Combs had received preferential treatment while incarcerated.
The allegations included claims that he had access to a contraband cellphone, alcohol, massages and elaborate meals.
According to TMZ, Combs was subsequently returned to solitary confinement while officials investigated the allegations.
The claims concerning preferential treatment remain distinct from the disciplinary violations described by Rojas. Any findings by prison authorities would be needed to establish the circumstances surrounding those allegations.
Singer Aubrey O’Day, who previously had a professional association with Combs, also discussed reports of alleged preferential treatment during an appearance on TMZ Live.
The developments have continued to attract public attention as the former Bad Boy Records founder serves his federal prison sentence.
Why Is Diddy in Prison?
Combs is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence following his 2025 conviction on two prostitution-related counts.
Diddy was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
The verdict followed a high-profile federal trial that drew international attention and placed the music executive’s personal and professional conduct under intense scrutiny.
His conviction and sentence are separate from the subsequent reports concerning his behaviour and alleged access to prohibited items in prison.
What Happens Next?
The reported loss of good-time credit and commissary privileges could have consequences for Combs’ incarceration, depending on the final disciplinary determinations and applicable federal prison rules.
A possible transfer to another facility has also been raised in connection with his reported disciplinary classification, although no transfer was confirmed in the information available.
For now, the reports add another development to the legal and personal challenges facing the music executive as he serves his sentence.
