Big Brother Naija Season 11 has entered another dramatic stage after 14 housemates were placed on the eviction list for Week Five of the 2026 reality show.
The latest eviction nominations were announced following a major immunity development that saw five contestants exempted from the possibility of leaving the competition this week.
The five housemates who secured immunity are Chimsom, Flora, Aikou, Sheba and Abi.
The eviction list was shared through the organisers’ official social media platform, giving fans another opportunity to begin predicting who could leave the house during the upcoming live eviction show.

Chimsom secures Head of House immunity
Chimsom emerged as the Head of House for the latest week of the competition, automatically securing immunity from eviction.
The Head of House position remains one of the most important advantages available to contestants because winning the weekly challenge can provide protection from possible eviction while also giving the winner additional privileges inside the house.
Chimsom’s victory therefore means the housemate will remain in the competition for another week, regardless of the outcome of the eviction process.
The achievement also gives Chimsom an opportunity to focus on navigating relationships, tasks and alliances without the immediate pressure of facing eviction.
Five housemates escape eviction pressure
In addition to Chimsom, Flora, Aikou, Sheba and Abi were also exempted from this week’s eviction process.
The immunity twist has reduced the number of housemates who can potentially be evicted while increasing the pressure on those who remain vulnerable.
For the 14 housemates on the eviction list, the coming days could become particularly important as they attempt to convince viewers to keep them in the competition.
Big Brother Naija evictions are determined by a combination of the show’s established voting process and the week’s rules, meaning housemates often rely heavily on their fan bases to secure their continued participation.
Fans begin eviction predictions
Following the announcement, BBNaija viewers are expected to begin analysing the performances, personalities and popularity of the nominated housemates.
For many contestants, building a strong relationship with viewers can be just as important as winning tasks inside the house.
Social media conversations surrounding the nominees are also likely to influence the atmosphere ahead of the live eviction show, as fans campaign for their favourite contestants.
Supporters typically use platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok to encourage other viewers to vote for the housemates they want to remain in the competition.
Pressure increases in Week Five
Reaching Week Five represents an important point in the BBNaija competition.
By this stage, housemates have had enough time to establish friendships, rivalries and alliances, while viewers have also begun forming strong opinions about the contestants.
As the weeks progress, the pressure generally becomes more intense because every eviction brings the remaining contestants closer to the final stages of the competition.
For the 14 nominated housemates, avoiding eviction will require both strong viewer support and careful management of their relationships inside the house.
A contestant who has previously enjoyed a large following can still face danger if their supporters fail to mobilise during the voting period.
Immunity changes the dynamics
The immunity secured by Chimsom, Flora, Aikou, Sheba and Abi has also changed the dynamics within the house.
With five contestants protected from eviction, attention will be concentrated on the remaining housemates.
The development could also influence alliances and strategies, particularly as contestants consider how to position themselves for future nominations and challenges.
Winning immunity can provide valuable breathing space, allowing contestants to concentrate on the competition without worrying about an immediate exit.
For those who remain vulnerable, however, every conversation, task and public appearance could potentially affect how viewers perceive them.
BBNaija Season 11 continues
The 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija continues to attract significant attention from entertainment fans across Nigeria and beyond.
The show’s combination of competition, entertainment, relationships, strategic gameplay and unpredictable twists has made it one of the country’s most closely followed reality television programmes.
With 14 housemates now facing the possibility of eviction, the upcoming live show is expected to generate plenty of discussion among viewers.
Fans will now wait to see which contestants receive enough support to remain in the house and who will eventually be forced to leave the competition.
For Chimsom, Flora, Aikou, Sheba and Abi, the immediate danger has been removed thanks to their immunity.
For the remaining 14 housemates, however, the battle for survival has officially intensified.
As Week Five continues, viewers will have the final say on which contestants get another chance to compete for the ultimate BBNaija prize.
