Star Artist Rema whose real name is Divine Ikubor, was interviewed on his recent song ‘Lady’ on the meaning of the part of his lyrics “Achukwuleke and Palansia”.
The award winning singer, who won the next rated star at the last 13th headies award said he grew up in Benin in Edo State, Nigeria and most of the words in his lyrics are slangs he heard and learnt in Benin.”They are funny words i have always heard in Benin,while growing up and it stuck. I honestly think they are funny and I added them to my songs to create a kind of flavour” he said
When queried on how he handles most female fans the 19 year old singer said he is not in any relationship at the moment but loves and admires his fans.
