The boss of Marvin Records, Micheal Ajereh also known as Don Jazzy had gone on social media to share of how he feels when he travels outside of Nigeria.
The celebrated music producer said he feels ashamed as a Nigerian each time he travels outside the country and sees the development and sane systems of foreign countries.
The 36 year old celebrity went to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts that in spite of his riches, he finds it difficult to live a good life in Nigeria.
He posted that ” thats the thing about Nigeria, is it that we have too much faith or what….or that we are just too.. .I just dont know the word to use:
He went on to share that Nigerians are suffering that even with his wealth he finds it hard to spend it” how can you spend money when people are suffering” He posted that the suffering in the Land is too much.
He shared ” each time I travel outside the country I feel ashamed for us”
The Oxfam international organisation has posted that no fewer than 94.4m individuals in Nigeria live below the poverty line, more than the combined population of Gambia and Cape verde.
The organisation has opined that this will make Nigerians fall short of meeting the sustainable development goals
