Celebrity blogger Linda ikeji. shared a post on her Instagram handle, on how the Rats in her old rented apartment in surulere Lagos, drove her to buy her Banana Island home.
She shared this story with the students of Wisconsin International University College Ghana. As one of the speakers at the panel she was asked at what point did she realise that she was Rich.
She narrated an interesting story of how she was living in a rented apartment in Surulere and she was blogging in her living room at the time and there were rats running around her living room. After chasing the rats for sometime she realised and said to herself ‘Gaddamit I’m actually rich and can afford a better home”
She said she quickly placed a call to her friend who helped her in buying her new home that was worth $2.5m (N900m) at the time.
She chuckled”Rats made me realise that i was Rich”. The blogger and mum of one also added that she never takes her blessings for granted and will also continue to work hard to achieve greater heights.
She also shared a beautiful picture of herself and captioned it with expressions of gratitude to God for how far he has brought her.
