Renowned Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga, recently shared a significant revelation about the influential Afrobeats star, Wizkid.
According to MI, a major Nigerian political party offered Wizkid a substantial sum of money due to his immense social impact and influence.
Despite the generous proposal, Wizkid chose to remain impartial, demonstrating his commitment to neutrality and integrity.
In a candid discussion, MI Abaga verified that Wizkid turned down the lucrative offer from the political party. The rap icon emphasized Wizkid’s decision to stay out of political endorsements, contrasting him with others in the industry who might have accepted such offers.
MI also disclosed that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a rival political faction, made an even more substantial offer—20 times greater than the initial proposal.
