Yusuf Adepitan, also known as Ijoba Danku, a well-known promoter and talent manager, recently shared his candid opinion about singer Portable, a former client.
In a recent episode of the “Doyin’s Corner” podcast, Danku expressed his regrets about working with Portable, whom he described as immature.
Danku revealed that Portable had lied to him at the outset of their professional relationship.
This deception led Danku to take legal action against the singer, though he eventually withdrew the lawsuit after Portable’s father intervened and pleaded with him.
Reflecting on his experience, Danku remarked, “Portable is still a boy. Before Portable came to me, he lied to me.
I actually sued him, but his father pleaded with me, and I accepted to drop the suit. If there is someone I wish I never allowed into my circle, it is Portable.”
Danku’s comments highlight his disappointment and the challenges he faced while managing Portable, underscoring the singer’s lack of maturity.
