Popular comedian and actor AY Makun has ignited a wave of reactions on social media following his recent post addressing the impact of feminism on men.
Posting on his X page, the acclaimed comedian argued that the feminist movement has unfairly marginalized men who have dared to voice their struggles, effectively placing them on a “dead-on-arrival” list in today’s society.
AY Makun urged women to be aware that their male loved ones—friends, brothers, fathers, cousins, and uncles—are facing significant challenges within their own gender dynamics.
He stated;
“The feminism mechanism in the subconsciousness of most women against men who gathered the courage to speak up on the things they too go through in their relationships, has maliciously placed broken men on a dead on arrival list in modern day society.
Women should also remember that they have friends, brothers, fathers, cousins, and uncles who are going through a lot in the hands of their gender.”
His comments have sparked a diverse range of reactions online, with some users agreeing with his perspective, while others criticize it as a misunderstanding of the feminist movement.
